Ritter, Joyce Hinkley

Joyce Hinkley Ritter, 74, of Radford, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013. She attended the Parrott Church of God and was retired from the Newport News Shipyard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie Lee and Margaret Elizabeth Hinkley; her husband, Carlos Gene Ritter; and brothers, John, Roger and Lonnie Hinkley. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Marie Robinson, of Newport News, and Carla Jean Ritter, of Dublin; son, Michael Ray Ritter, of Newport News; brother, Kenneth Hinkley, of Radford; sisters, Virginia Dunlow, of Michigan, and Doris Caldwell and Diane Meredith, both of Dublin; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Brittany, Andrew, Jamie, Joseph, and Brenna; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the Parrott Church of God with the Rev. Robert Meredith, Pastor Kenneth Alley and Pastor Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at noon at the church.
