Ritchey, Roy Laverne

Roy Laverne Ritchey, of Blacksburg, passed away the morning of April 3, 2012, at Skyline Nursing Home in Floyd. He was predeceased by his parents, Sanford M. Ritchey and Lillian Stewart Ritchey. He leaves behind his daughter, Tanya R. Breed (Christopher); granddaughters Lauren and Katie, of Florida; and a son, Jeffrey, of North Carolina. He is also survived by his brother, S. Jewell Ritchey (Elizabeth), of Blacksburg, and Allen D. Ritchey (Edrena), of Temecula, Calif.; two nieces and four nephews, Julia R. Marin, Dana Ritchey, Kenneth A. Ritchey, Eric S. Ritchey, Scott Ritchey and Mark Ritchey; plus several great-nephews and nieces. There will be no service. His remains will be buried in the family plot in Bogalusa, La. The family wishes to thank the staff at Skyline Manor for the wonderful care they gave to Roy while he lived there. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
