Christopher Cecil Riggs, age 12, of Hiwassee died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 as the result of an accident. Born August 12, 1998 in Roanoke, he is the son of Leslie Ann Sadler Riggs & John Cecil Riggs, Jr. Christopher was a student at Dublin Middle School and loved the outdoors (especially fishing and hunting). He was a member of the Snowville Boy Scout Troop,#151. He is survived by his- Parents- Leslie Ann Sadler Riggs – Hiwassee, & John Cecil Riggs, Jr. – Pulaski. Brother- Julian Cecil Riggs – Hiwassee, Grandparents- Willis & Linda Farmer – Hiwassee, Donnie & Maggie Sadler – Pearisburg, VA., John & Marlene Riggs – TN., Brenda Young – KS. Several Aunts, Uncles, cousins and special friends of Snowville Boy Scout Troop #151. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Richard Holmes, Rev. Mike Hall, Rev. Bill Handy and Rev. Laythan Gravley officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
