Richmond, Reba Fern

Reba Fern Richmond, 83, of Christiansburg, died Monday, November 20, 2006, at Heritage Hall Health Care Center.

She was born in West Virginia on July 16, 1923 to the late William Hunter and Edith Merrill Richmond. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Keenan; two brothers, William Hunter Richmond, Jr. and James E. Richmond.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Nelda and Kenneth Hatfill, of Christiansburg; niece, Darlene Wood, of Christiansburg; great-niece, Tiffany Wood; and great-nephew, Stephen Jesse Janney.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gilbert Maxwell officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, Blacksburg.
