Richardson, Samuel David
Samuel David Richardson (Sam) passed on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the age of 80, in Colorado. He is survived by his daughter, Laura, & son-in-law, Samir, his nephew, Bill Wright & his wife Becky, of Powhatan, VA & family.
Born in Christiansburg, VA, he loved the mountains and enjoyed them his last 8 years in Denver, CO. He loved going to Aspen, Vail, & Breckenridge with Laura & Samir.
He served in the US Navy as a submariner, then went on to earn a Civil Engineer degree at VA Tech. He was very proud to be a Professional Civil Engineer and worked hard his entire life. He fought to the very end. He will be dearly missed.

Sam was smart, had a great sense of humor,told awesome stories and was engaging and fun. I ‘m happy to have known him and spend time with him, I’ll miss him.
