Richardson, Richard W.

Richard W. (Dick) Richardson, 71, of Blacksburg, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018. He was born on February 10, 1947 in Wythe County, the son of the late Richard and Letha Richardson. Dick is survived by his wife, Dianna B. Richardson, of Blacksburg, VA; one son, Andrew B. Richardson and wife Vanessa of Brooklyn, NY; Brothers-in-Law, David Blair and wife Sage of Wytheville, VA and Jeffrey Blair of Max Meadows, VA; niece and nephew, Mackenzie and Sam Blair of Max Meadows, VA as well as several cousins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 16 from 6-8 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home. Plans are pending for a memorial service at Fort Chiswell United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the New River Conservancy or the Davis Family Cemetery.
