Emory Clinton Richardson of Narrows VA was born June 19, 1941, the sixth of nine children to the late Charles Emory and Beulah Allene Crawford Richardson. He went to his heavenly home on September 25, 2018. His parents, three brothers and five sisters preceded him in death: Russell, Lewis, Lou May, Ruth, Robert, Faye, Doris and Bonnie.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley Stowers Richardson and sons, Ronald and Donald and wife Amy. Grandchildren, Kacey and Dylan Richardson.

Clinton was baptized into the Christian faith at an early age and was a member of and faithfully supported Rich Creek First United Methodist Church. He retired from Celanese Celco Plant with 23 years of service. He also worked at Narrows Flower and Gift Shop for 16 years. Clinton was a happy person with a great sense of humor, a hard worker, a great husband and father, loving his children and grandchildren with all his being.

Family visitation is from 6-8 PM on Thursday, September 27th at Riffe-Givens Funeral Home in Narrows, VA. Services are at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 28th at First United Methodist Church in Rich Creek, VA with the Rev. Buddy Butler officiating with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Narrows.
