Richardson, Colleen King

Rena Colleen King Richardson transitioned to Heaven on May 12, 2018. Colleen was born to the late John and Elizabeth Page on February 18, 1933. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Eugene King and James Richardson; her son, Billy King; and her sisters, Velma Chavis, Lottie Draper, Edna Simmons, and Mildred Waller.

Left to cherish their mother’s memory are her sons, Glen King and Vickie, Danny King and Vicki, and Roger King and Dana; her stepson, Ransy Richardson and Tina; her daughter, Debbie Martin and Garnett; her daughter-in-law, Ann King; her sisters, Lois Hendricks and Shirley Webb and Ralph. Colleen was also a special mother to Terry Smart and Mandy, Kisha (Sissy) Smart and Kelsey and Dianne Cochran. She will be remembered by her thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her numerous nieces and nephews.

The King Family wish to thank Highland Ridge Rehab Center and Good Samaritan Hospice for their care and comfort during this time.

The family will receive friends on Thursday May 17, 2018 from 12 to 2 p.m. at DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral Services will begin at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Donald Webb officiating. Entombment will follow in the masoleum at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford is in charge of arrangements.
