Richardson, Carolyn Harris

Carolyn Harris Richardson, age 78, of Christiansburg, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2007 at Salem Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cordia and Robert S. Harris of Richlands, VA; two brothers, Audnia S. Harris and Robert W. Harris; four sisters, Edith H. Semones, Irene H. Oscar, Dorothy H. Oldham and Thelma H. Richardson and her husband Edward M. Richardson, Jr.

She is survived by a brother Thurman A. Harris of Cedar Bluff, VA and a niece/step-daughter, Karen Richardson Trear and family of Blacksburg.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at the graveside in Sunset Cemetery with Rev. Dr. David A. Goodpasture officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24068.
