Richards, Jr. Charles Lee

Charles Lee Richards, Jr. age 64 of Pulaski passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at his home. Born March 13, 1947 in Pulaski he was the son of the late Charles Lee Richards, Sr. & Nancy Poole Richards and was raised by the late Charles & Lou Henley. One brother; C.L. Henley also preceded him in death.

Charlie served in the U.S. Air Force and in the Vietnam War. He proudly served his country. He was involved with the Recreation Dept. for Little League Football and men’s softball for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski with the Pastor Kenny Wyatt officiating. Interment will follow at the Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski with military honors conducted by the Pulaski V.F.W. Post #1184. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.

The family would like to thank Dr. John Boone & Dr. Tina Smusz, nurses; Teresa, Sherri, Tammi and Vanessa Coake with Carilion Hospice.
