Richards, Evelyn Mae Pannell

Evelyn Mae Pannell Richards, 77, of Radford, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2006.

She was a member of the Radford Worship Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Richards, Sr., a brother, Lacy Pannell, and two sisters, Irene Richards and Ernestine Harris. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Jerry Hopkins of Parrott, Sandra and Pete Blackburn of Dublin, Brenda (Jeannie) and the late Richard Phillips of Radford, and Carolyn and Ray Prater of Hopewell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Sherry Richards of Dublin, and Doug and Kristi Richards of Radford; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Frankie and Don Roop of Radford; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Pannell of Charlotte, N.C.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 29, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Radford Worship Center with Dr. Hal Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.

As she was a devoted Christian member of the Radford Worship Center, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Radford Worship Center Outreach Ministries, 1820 Second Street, Radford, Virginia 24141.
