Rice, Frankie Crosier

Frankie Crosier Rice, age 82, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the Pulaski Health & Rehabilitation Center in Pulaski, VA. Born May 7, 1942, in Peterstown, WV, she was the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Bessie Faye Humphreys Crosier.

Frankie worked as a seamstress. She was a great mother who would often be found cleaning the house or taking care of others. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Rice; daughter, Angela Wickline; brothers, Bobby, Billy, and Leon Crosier; infant brother, Everett; and sisters, Betty Sue Wills and Doris Ann McMillian.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Wickline and wife Rhetta, and Doug Wickline and wife Peggy; two daughters, Sandra Wickline King and Connie Wickline; stepchildren, Valeria Rice, Jimmy Rice and wife Misty, and Donna Sanderson and husband Dennis; one brother, Donald Crosier; one sister, Nora Lee Wickline; grandchildren, Nicole, Chad, Jennifer, Kimberly, Justin, McKenzie, Gabrielle, Jacob, Anna, Madison, Samantha, Lindsey, and Shawna; and great grandchildren, Emma, Liam, Bryson, Brylee, Jase, Paisley, Wyatt, River, Briana, Ariana, Levi, Adam, Kyrie, and Braedon.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, VA, with Pastor Tim Sanderson officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:30PM until the departure time of 1:30PM at Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV.
