RHODES, Evelyn Amos

Evelyn Amos Rhodes, 73 of Dublin, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2006 at her home.

She was a retired employee of Wolverine Gasket Co. in Blacksburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Montgomery and Annie Wright Amos, a daughter Deborah Sanders, two brothers Melvin and Posie Amos, and a former husband Odell ?Odie? Rhodes.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, June and E.W. Harless of Dublin; Connie Adams of Radford; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Bill Sowers of Vinton; Dorothy and Phillip Keister of Blacksburg; seven grandchildren, Michael, Chris, and Stephen Harless, Wendy Washburn, Chucky Curtis, Molly Fulcher, and April Nelson and six great-grandchildren; special niece and nephew, Gina Brown and Billy Hedge; two very special great nieces Madison and Nataleigh Brown. Evelyn will be greatly missed by her loving family and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday May 2, 2006 at Mullins Funeral Home with Rev. O.D. Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Kidney Fund 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 1010 Rockville, Maryland 20852. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
