Ada Lee Rhodes, 90, of Dew Berry Hill in Pembroke, and formerly of Beckley, W.Va., departed this life Monday evening, December 11, 2006 at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg.

Born in Giles County on March 12, 1916 she was a daughter of the late William C. and Sarah Page Riddle. She was a Christian of the Methodist Faith and had been a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Tawanda Rhodes of Carnegie, Okla., Charles and Carol Rhodes of Clover Lick, W.Va., Sammy and Wanda Rhodes of Pembroke, Va.; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, New River Ward, in Pembroke with Bishop Cantrall Martin presiding. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
