Reynolds, Thomas Preston

Thomas Preston Reynolds, 61, of Christiansburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. He was preceded in death by his dad, Frank Thomas Reynolds; and mom, Lois Ratcliff Dowdy.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Patsy Reynolds; daughter, Prestie (Shonda) Roach; granddaughter, Taylor Roach; brother and sister, Mike (Gail) Reynolds, Brenda (James) Gluff; step-mother, Delsie (Cart) Bordwine; sisters-in-law, Joyce Phillips, Shelby (Steve) Akers, Barbara (Paul) Bullion, Debbie (Ben) Hall; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Each and every one was special in their own way to him.

Tommy was a brick layer by trade and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church for 17 years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 2, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Open Door Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on the 2nd floor of Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital for the special care and love they gave him.
