Repass, Elsie Frances

Elsie Frances Repass, age 94 of Dublin, died Friday January 11, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 22, 1918 in Wythe County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Maude Lefler Repass, and John Robert Repass. Elsie served as treasurer for the Town of Dublin for over 40 years. She was a member of the Board of Appeals for Pulaski County, and was a member of the Dublin Planning Commission. She was a long-time member of the Dublin Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Session, and was a teacher of the Women’s Sunday School Class. She also attended Junior Intermont College. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Florence Elizabeth Repass. She is survived by her family, Ken and Dreama Haga, Jimmy and Penny Lane and their children, Emily, Samantha and Adam. She was also survived by her caregivers; Whitney Jackson, Linda Taylor, Elsie Cox, Wanda Terry, and Alan and Tammy Nagy, along with her special friend, Lib Nye. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memory Gardens with the Rev. Jim Linkous officiating. The family will visit with friends briefly following the graveside committal service. Elsie requested no visitation at the funeral home.
