Reedy, John Herman

John Herman Reedy, age 67 of Draper passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at his home. Born June 29, 1947 in Woodbridge, Virginia, he was the son of the late Clifford Francis Reedy & Mary Alice Wills Reedy.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force – serving in Vietnam. John was a founding member of the Stafford County Christian Church and attended Faith Bible Church in Pulaski. He was a founder of Rockhill Volunteer Fire Department, Stafford, VA.

He is survived by his

Wife of 47 years- Georgie Reedy – Draper.

Sons- J.C. & Mandy Reedy – Woodstock, VA, William Allen Reedy – Edinburg, VA, Michael Patrick & Mary Reedy – Minnesota.

Grandchildren- Meaghan Amber Jenkins, Christian Reedy, Madison Reedy, Camden Reedy, Miah Bowman, Chloe Reedy and Mathias Reedy.

Great Granddaughter – Addison Lynn

Sister – Frances & Claude Sullivan – Pulaski

Brother – Gene & Kathy Reedy – Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday – March 10, 2015 at the Faith Bible Church (Pulaski) with Rev. Jim Linkous officiating. Interment will follow at the Southwest Virginia Veteran’s Cemetery, Dublin where the Pulaski V.F.W. Post #1184 will conduct full military honors. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday evening at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
