Glenn Calvert Reed, 79, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Monday, November 24, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Eloise Reed; son, Guy Reed; grandson, Matthew Reed; great-grandson, Davis Reed; sister, Iletta Slusher; nephew Mike Slusher; and stepdaughter and her husband, Becky and John Hundley. The family will receive friends at the Horne Funeral Home on Friday, November 28, 2008, from 9 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Max Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Bluefield, Va. The family requests that no flowers be sent and that memorial contributions be made to Leukemia Society or your local food bank.
