Reed, April Dawn

April Dawn Reed, age 36, of Bassett, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents Russell Mahlon and Lula Mae Dickerson Reed of Floyd.

Left to cherish her memories are her Son Eric Brandon Joyce of Floyd, sister Norma Reed Sebastian of Martinsville, brother Kenneth Russell Reed of Bassett, sister Sandra Jean Reed of Floyd, and brother Marvin Douglas Reed of Martinsville; aunt Essie Goad of Ferrum, aunt Ila Reed of Willis and numerous extended family.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday August 30,2016 at Maberry Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ricky Randall officiating. Interment will follow at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the Duncans Chapel Cemetery.
