Rawnsley, Frances Patterson

Frances Hopkinson Patterson Rawnsley, 84, of Narrows, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 12, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Judge J. Howard Patterson and Gabriella Bittle Hopkinson Patterson. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Melville Collins Rawnsley.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. Stewart M. Rawnsley of Narrows, Virginia, Douglas Rawnsley; and one granddaughter, Catherine Rawnsley, both of South Auckland, New Zealand.

At her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a small donation to the local humane society nearest you.
