Ratliff, Ocie Epperly

Ocie Epperly Ratliff, 98, of Floyd, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 13, 2008, at Snyder Nursing Home, Salem.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Ratliff.

Survivors include sons and daughters-inlaw, Donnie and Betsy Ratliff, David and Sandra Ratliff; daughters and sons-in-law, Odell and Bill James, Weeta and Garry Sowers, Hazel and Gene Thompson, Ruth and David Peters; grandchildren, Jeff Duncan, Mike Duncan, Stephen Ratliff, Phillip Ratliff, Ronald Sowers, Ray Sowers, Renea Payne, Alan Ratliff, Michelle Anderson, Diana Alderman, Kenneth Thompson, Susan Tanner, Denise Peters, Melissa Wade, 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Maberry Funeral Home after noon Saturday where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
