Berlin G. Ratliff, 81 of Pearisburg passed from this life on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg. He was born in Dickenson County, Virginia on August 7th, 1931 and was the son of the late Lonza and Betty Elizabeth Anderson Ratliff. In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bertie Mae Keffer Ratliff; his second wife, Euna Riddle Ratliff; three sisters and two brothers. Berlin was a longtime member of Cedar Grove Church of Christ, which he loved. He is now gone to see his God and Lord. Left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Kristi Ayers; two sons, Eric Ratliff and Kevin Fisher; two stepdaughters, Ann Price and Nancy Bender; five grandchildren, Felicia Fisher, Tiffany Mundy, Alexis Ayers, Cassidy Ayers, and Jordan Ratliff; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 5th, 2012 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with Jack Jones and Harold Goins, Ministers, officiating. Burial will follow in Level Green Cemetery in Craig County. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service Sunday from 7 to 9 PM.
