Ratcliffe, Michael Joseph
Michael Joseph Ratcliffe (aka Mo), 59 of Pearisburg, VA passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022. Mike was born on February 28th, 1963, in Pearisburg, VA. He was the son of the late William E. Ratcliffe and Wanda L. Ratcliffe.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Joyce D. Ratcliffe, his son Maxwell M. Ratcliffe (Toni Ratcliffe), his beautiful grandchildren Braxton and Macklyn Ratcliffe, his sister Vicki Journell, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and countless friends.
A memorial service for Mike will be held Friday, June 17th, 2022, at 2pm at The First Baptist Church of Rich Creek in Rich Creek, VA with our Pastor Kevin Shirey sharing the gospel and bringing comfort to all. Flower arrangements and donations can be sent to The First Baptist Church of Rich Creek.

Casual but respectful attire is requested, and if you knew Mike, he was a come as you are individual.

Joyce and Family of Mike, I don’t know of any words that I could tell you right now that would bring you any comfort. You have your memories of Mike that you will always keep close in your heart and they will bring you comfort in the many days ahead. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Joyce and Max, we are so sorry to hear about Mike. He was my best friend for many many years. I will miss him terribly. I send you both love and prayers for strength to get through this terrible time. If you need anything please let me know. Love to you.

I’m going to be short here, but I have a lot to say. Mike was an Airborne brother who I served with in Alaska in 1985. I have a lot of love and respect for him, always will. My wife Allison and I send our condolences to Joyce and Max.
