Danny Boyd Ramey, 52, of Blacksburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. He is survived by his son, Danny B. Ramey Jr. and wife, Mandi; two grandchildren, Austin and Ashlee; daughter, Virginia M. Hunt and husband, John T. Hunt Jr.; two grandchildren, Rachel and John T. Hunt III; son, Kristopher L. Ramey and fiance, Kelly Walling; three grandchildren, Haley, Kaysen and Hayden; stepmother, Shirley Ramey; sister, Debbie Litton and husband, Ronnie; brother, Daniel C. Ramey Jr. and wife, Lorna; stepsister, Sheila Rackey; eight nieces; three nephews; as well as extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 26, 2012, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2012, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Perry Slaughter officiating.
