Raines, Barbara Meredith

Barbara Meredith Raines, 75, formerly of Pembroke, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 after an unexpected illness. She was born April 6, 1939 in Pearsiburg, Va. to Aubrey and Lucy Meredith.

She married her high school sweetheart, William Raines on September 10, 1957, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served faithfully in various callings.She leaves behind the love of her life “Billy”; her children, Chuck (Susan) Raines, Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jim (Lisa) Raines, Grantsville, Utah, Stephanee (Martin) Green, Santaquin, Utah; her dearest sister, Bonnie (Richard) Williams; her nephew, Randall (Teresa) Williams; her niece, Myra Williams; her great-niece, Jennifer Williams all of Virginia, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Saratoga Springs Stake Center, 587 S Saratoga Road, Saratoga Springs, Utah. Burial will be at the Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery.
