Radford, “Pete” Melvin

“Pete” Melvin Lowe Radford, 77, of Lebanon Road, Pembroke, departed this life Friday, November 3, 2017 at his home. Born in Giles County on May 5, 1940, he was a son of the late Albert and Della Lee Hilton Radford. Pete was a graduate of Pembroke (the Corncutters) and was retired from VPI in the plumbing department. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Susan Williams Radford, his parents, and several brothers and sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Kristin R Marsalek and her husband David of Eleanor, WV; his step-daughter Tammie W Johnston and her husband Billy of Pembroke; his dearly beloved granddaughter “Sweet Pea” Kensington Page Marselek; three step-granddaughters; and special friend Mike and Debbie; and all of his front porch buddies at the Little Giant Store in Pembroke.

Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, December 3, 2017, at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow Street, Pembroke with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating.
