Radford, Pearline Mabry

Pearline Mabry Radford, 77, of Christiansburg, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Mrs. Radford retired after 30 years as manager at Imperial Reading. She was born on May 27, 1933, to Curtis George Mabry and Etta Caviness Mabry. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Eston “Tom” Radford; as well as a son, Thomas J. Radford, in Richmond, Va.; a daughter and son-in-law, Teressa and Robert Thayer, of Mooresville, N.C.; and a daughter and sonin-law, Robin and Jerry Childs, of Riner, Va.; sisters, Sally Smith, of Salem, Va., and Millie Howell, of Chesterfield, Va.; granddaughter and her husband, Jessica and Mark Marinoble, of Fredricksburg, Va.; and great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Isabelle and Josiah Marinoble. She was preceded in death by her brother, Burton Mabry. She loved cooking, gardening, her little dog, Liberty, housekeeping, care giving and working in her greenhouse among beautiful flowers and plants. She was a dedicated, wonderful, loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. “She will be missed by all until we meet again.” The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 27, 2011, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2011, at Horne Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
