Radford, Lorene Walters

Lorene Walters Radford, 87, of Floyd passed away Monday, October 1, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Jeff Radford; a son, Jeff Jr. Radford; and a great-granddaughter, Kassie Shaffer.

She is survived by two sons, Harry Dean and Thannah Radford of Willis and Jimmy L. Radford of Floyd; two daughters, Betty and Johnnie Dickerson and Judy and Tommy Bell, all of Floyd; seven grandchildren; eleven greatgrandchildren; daughter-in-law, Marthine Radford of Lula Ga.; many nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Maleta Walters and Velvie Walters, both of Check.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the Little River Baptist Church, with the Rev. Allen Vass officiating with interment in the Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home. Arrangements by Wood Funeral Home in Floyd.
