Radford, Johnnie Robert

Johnnie Robert Radford, 89 of Floyd, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, April 19, 2015. He was born December 5, 1925 to the late Artice and Nannie Radford.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, the love of his life, Nelva Zorene Radford. He was also preceded in death by his sister Pauline Williams, brothers Melvin and Sherman Radford and his daughter-in-law, Wanda Radford. He was a devoted and loving father.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Tommy Litchford of Floyd; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Hazel Radford, and Ricky and Jackie Radford of Floyd.

Johnnie was a wonderful Papa to 14 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Maberry Funeral Home with Rev. Darlene Marshall, Pastor Richard Thomas and Pastor Cecil Wayne Brown officiating. Interment to follow in the Vest Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel.
