Radford, Eston Azle

Eston Azle Radford, 85, of Floyd, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. He was born on September 5, 1927. Eston was preceded in death by his father, John Radford; and his mother, Julia Radford. Also preceding him in death were six sisters, seven brothers and their spouses. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Lottie Poff Radford; one sister-in-law, Pauline Radford; brother-in-law and wife, Nelson and Millie Poff; and sister-in-law and husband, Lillian and Tilton Oyler. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Joseph Ashby officiating. Interment will follow at the Vest Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, April 5, 2013, after 6 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 6 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vest Cemetery, c/o of Lela Peters, 5531 Franklin Pike SE, Floyd, VA 24091.
