Beulah McGuire Radford, 90 of Rich Creek went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 24th, 2016, after a short illness. She was born in Pembroke on January 31st, 1926 to the late Charlie McGuire and Salonia Williams McGuire.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Roy, Everette and Samuel McGuire; sisters Lucy Ann Lucas, Agnes Merrix, Glenna Morris, Sippie Hutchison and Dorothy Young.

Ms. Radford retired from Federal Mogul in 1991 after 18 years of service. After retirement, she enjoyed her family that visited her. You could find her in the yard with her flowers, or in the garden. When she wasn’t outside, she was inside with her many potted plants, or she would be piecing a quilt. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are sons Darrill Radford and Mitzi Cumbee of Pembroke, Arnold Radford of Pembroke; daughters Faith Jennings and husband Mike of Rich Creek, Lisa Keith and husband James of Max Meadows; a sister, Ruby Willis of Waynesboro, Georgia; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Patra Hampton and Evelyn Coake.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Kenneth Walker, the staff at Medi Home Health and Hospice, her nurse, Cheri Covey, and her caretaker, Amber Collins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with Pastor Terry Eversole officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Chapel Saturday from 12 noon until just prior to the service.
