Virginia Boothe Quesinberry, 92, of Floyd, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008.

Virginia was born April 12, 1916, to S.P. and Delilah Boothe. She was the wife of Daniel E. Quesinberry, who was a Floyd County Supervisor in the 1970’s who preceded her in death.

Virginia is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Jan Quesinberry, of Christiansburg, and Sonny and Margaret Quesinberry, of Floyd; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Dan Miller, of Wake Forest, N.C., and Beverly Thompson, of Roanoke; ten grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Brenda, and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Gardner Funeral Home with Margaret Quesinberry and the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2008, at Gardner Funeral Home, where the family will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd, Va.
