quesinberry_verona_cullerMrs. Verona Victoria Culler Quesinberry, age 88, of Severna Park, MD and formerly of Mt. Airy, went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2014. Mrs. Quesinberry was born in Patrick County on August 7, 1925 to Emmett F. and Annie Maude Poore Culler. Mrs. Quesinberry was only sixteen when she graduated as Valedictorian from Blue Ridge High School and then attended Radford Women’s College. She was a faithful member of Central United Methodist Church and attended Methodist Churches in Glen Burnie and Severna Park, MD after her move there. Mrs. Quesinberry was such a dear person who could light up any room with her bright smile and quiet giggle. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Jean Marie and James T. Traylor of St. Petersburg, FL; Faye Elaine and Kevin Parris of Severna Park, MD; a grandson, Brian David Parris; a sister, Velma Bishop of Ararat, VA; a sister-in-law, Christine Culler of Mt. Airy and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Quesinberry was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmen Carlyle Quesinberry; sisters, Grace Valentine, Ruth Smith and Leone King and brothers, Russell Culler, Lester Culler, Carl Culler, Clyde Culler and Ed Culler. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Central United Methodist Church by Rev. James Pyatt. Burial will follow in the Culler Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church parlor beginning at 2:00 PM.
