Claudia Marie McGrady Quesinberry, 84, of Dublin, Va., passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009, at her home. Born September 5, 1924, in Hillsville, she was the daughter of the late Elder Monroe McGrady and Sarah Zola Joyce McGrady. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Belle Jenkins; and brothers, Joseph McGrady and Hughes McGrady.

She was a member of the Pulaski Primitive Baptist Church. She was a former employee with the Pulaski County school system where she worked in the cafeteria of the Dublin Elementary and the Dublin Middle School.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Merlin Wise Quesinberry of Dublin; son and daughter-in law, Lindsey and Nancy Quesinberry, of Tucson, Ariz; loving niece, Judy Spraker and family, of Pulaski.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, with Elder Don Singleton and Elder Tim McGrady officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be sent to the Pulaski Primitive Baptist Church, Pulaski or the Salvation Army.
