Quesenberry, Stella Mae

Stella Mae Quesenberry, born on July 20, 1930, in Merrimac, Virginia, went to be with our Lord on the evening of October 26, 2023, at the age of 93.

After graduating Blacksburg High School, Stella went on to marry the love of her life, Roscoe, and raise five children with him. An intelligent, loyal, and hard-working woman, Stella spent nearly 30 years as a buyer at Electro Tech. She excelled at reading, cooking, thrifting, traveling, birdwatching, gardening, camping, sewing, and crocheting in her spare time. Above all, she enjoyed making memories with her family. She lived a long life of service to Christ and to those she loved.

A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Stella is survived by her daughter, Betty; sons, Maynard, Stewart, Steve, and Dewayne; brother-in-law, Leroy Quesenberry; sisters-in-law, Shelby Quesenberry and Mary Quesenberry; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe, her son, Roland, and grandson, Brian.

A public visitation will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on October 29, 2023, and the funeral will begin at 2 p.m. on October 30, 2023. Both services will be held at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg, Virginia.
