Ottie Annah Jamison Quesenberry, 97, of Pembroke departed this life Friday evening, January 5, 2018, at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg. Born in Carroll County, VA on February 13, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Roscoe and Mildred Melinda Hall Horton. She was retired from Kroger with thirty-five years service, was a member of Pembroke First United Methodist Church, and had been very active in Senior Citizen Activities in the New River Valley.

Ottie was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Joseph Milton “Bud” Jamison and Kenneth Quesenberry, her granddaughter Debra J Akers; and her brothers Foster and Roscoe and sisters Guida, Norma and Clettie.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law Alvis Dwight and Jesse Snider Jamison of Pembroke; her grandson Rodney Jamison of Pembroke; her great-granddaughters Ashley Jamison and Shannon Jearls.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 8, 2018, at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the services.
