Glen Erbie Quesenberry, 75, of Willis, our dear precious loved one, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, January 9, 2009. He was born April 24, 1933, to the late Curtis D. and Ettie V. Phillips Quesenberry.

In addition, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Alvis, Avis, Eugene and Ronald Quesenberry; sister, Phyllis Keith; granddaughters, Breanna Peake and Allison Turman. Glen was a wonderful hardworking husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He retired from Lynchburg Foundry with over 35 years of service.

Survivors include loving wife of 52 years, Mozell Sutphin Quesenberry; sons and daughters-in-law, Randall and Priscilla Quesenberry, Willis, Anthony and Virginia Quesenberry, Willis; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Charlie Smith, Dugspur, Patsy and Rudy Turman, Willis, Trena and Jamey Stanley, Dugspur, Marietta Quesenberry and Kenny Monahan, Wytheville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rudolph and Pearl Quesenberry, Roy and Mitzi Quesenberry; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sadie and Edward Underwood, Liddie and Ralph Weeks, Mattie and Clinton Compton; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren. You will always be in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2009, at the Indian Valley Church of God with the Rev. Kenneth Poston officiating. Interment to follow in Capt. George Quesenberry Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2009, at the church.
