Davis Miles Quesenberry, age 86, of Salem died Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem. He was born in Carroll County, VA on January 7, 1928 to the late Cullen Miles and Mattie Simpkins Quesenberry. He was also preceded in death by his step mother, Madge Quesenberry, brothers, Orie, and Gervis Quesenberry, and his sister Gaye Owens.

Miles owned and operated M & M Masonry. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U. S. Army. He was a member of American Legion, Post 3 and the Westside Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Quesenberry, of Salem; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Franklin Fout, two grandchildren, Emma Fout and Jacob Fout, all of Winchester; sister, Faye Dryer, of Blacksburg; brother and sister-in-law, Murell and Linda Quesenberry, of Blacksburg; two sisters-in-law, Dolly Quesenberry and Alma Quesenberry, both of Blacksburg,; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie Gwaltney officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.

Flowers would be appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Rescue Squad, 201 South Broad St., Salem, Va. 24153. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Sunday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg.
