Quesenberry, Cova Spence

Cova Spence Quesenberry, 95, of Floyd, Va., went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, April 26, 2010, while surrounded by her family. She was born on February 27, 1915, to Wilson and Alice Spence.

She is survived by one son, J.C. Quesenberry; three daughters, Darlene S. Huff and husband, David, Dorothy Q. Cox and husband, Gerald, and Ida Lee Q. Janney; four grandchildren, Kristi Griffith and husband, Jay, Kerri Huff, Levi Cox and wife, Sabrina, and Trent Cox; and seven great-grandchildren, Devin Griffith, Katie Griffith, Logan Griffith, Jayse Griffith, Krislyn Griffith, Emily Cox, and Hayden Cox. Cova was blessed with a long life which she enjoyed spending with her grandchildren and greatgrandbabies. Arrangements are being made by Maberry Funeral Home in Floyd. The family will welcome visitors from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Maberry Funeral Home. The funeral will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Maberry Funeral Home with the Rev. Vinton Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow in the SpenceQuesenberry Cemetery.
