Quesenberry, Barbara Sites

Barbara Ruth Sites Quesenberry, 66 of Narrows, VA departed this life in her home on March 1, 2022. Born in Maryland on January 5, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Paul Sites and Janice McDonald Carroll.

Barbara took pride in ensuring the health of those at Highland Ridge Nursing and Rehab by keeping the facilities clean. Her greatest pride though was that of her family, most especially, her grandbabies. Barbara also is noted to have a green thumb. Her therapy could also be found near a river bank, fishing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her “Dad”, Paul “Boots” Carroll, and a brother, Randy Sites.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her son, William Smith (Sam Parks) of Pearisburg; daughters, Brandee Lawson (Jonathan) of Pulaski, and Chelsie Long (Arnold) of Narrows, VA; grandchildren, Abby Long, Andrew Long, Jarrett Long, Aubree Long, and Heaven Long; brothers, Bill Sites (Janet) of Maryland, Rick Sites of Maryland, and Mike Sites (Virgie) of Florida, and a sister, Debbie Brooks (Joe) of Maryland.

There will be a funeral service conducted Friday, March 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Kendall officiating. The funeral will be concluded in the Sunset View Cemetery in Bozoo, WV. Family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel Friday March 4, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
