Pyles, Sidney Wallace

Sidney Wallace Pyles, 78, of Pearisburg, Va., went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 17, 2010. He was born in Giles County and lived in Pearisburg, Va. all his life. Sidney was preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Liza Gautier Pyles, also by his brothers and sisters, Thelma St.Clair, Maudie Johnson, Betty Johnson, Warren, Raymond, Arthur, Harvey, Jimmy and Robert Pyles. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Helen and Bonnie Pyles; and brother-in-law, Charles “Robert” Johnson Sr. Also left to cherish his memory are some very special nieces and nephews, Ginger Collins, Kay Price, Libby Kerr and Tom Pyles. Sidney was loved and surrounded by many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He also had some very special friends, Betty, Cecil and Marie. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Ingram Village United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ted Anders officiating. Burial in the Angel’s Rest Cemetery, Narrows. The visitation will be at the Ingram Village UMC on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements in the care of A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate.
