Pyles, Ernest Ray

Ernest “Gomer” Ray Pyles, age 67, Christiansburg died, Wednesday, July 29, 2020. He was born on March 18, 1953 to the late Ernest (Bud) Wesley and Nellie Keffer Pyles. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Fay Pyles.

Gomer enjoyed Trucking as his job for over 40 years.

He is survived by his daughters, Lori Ann Niday and husband, Donald, Donna Pyles, Tonya “Tony” Pyles and wife, Jill; Son, Donald Ray Pyles and wife, Angel; Jamie Dean; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane and Judy; brothers, Danny and Randy.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buford Linkous officiating. Internment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm on Saturday prior to the service.
