Pursell, Joan DePope

Joan Pursell, 83, of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Mt. Bethel, PA, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 while at Highland Ridge Rehab Center in Dublin, VA. Born in Paterson, NJ on January 9, 1929, she was the daughter of Peter J. DePope and Josephine M. VanDurme DePope.

She graduated from Belvidere High School and received her RN Certificate from the Easton Hospital School of Nursing.

Joan was predeceased two months ago by her husband of 62 years, Harry Pursell.

She is survived by her daughters Sherry Holm and husband Steve of Christiansburg, VA and Pat Pursell of Simsbury, CT, and her grandchildren Bethany Adamec and husband John of Annandale, VA, and Patrick Holm of Rochester, NY.

Memorial arrangements will be private. Those who wish may send memorial donations to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778.

The Pursell family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
