Pugh, Randolph Wayne

Randolph “Wayne” Pugh, 78, of Blacksburg, VA, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 9, 2021. He was born in Floyd County, Va. on May 11, 1943. He was preceded in death by his brother Roger Pugh, his father, Joseph Everette Pugh, his mother, Margie Brogan Pugh and first wife Sarah Duncan Pugh.

Wayne was a blessing, a selfless man, who never met a stranger and was loved by everyone he met. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved the Lord and was a longtime member of Cambria Baptist Church where he not only worshiped God over the years but once served as a Deacon.

He is survived by his wife Eileen Poff Pugh of Blacksburg, VA, his daughter Wendy and husband Mark Gilmore of Blacksburg, VA, his daughter Kelly Dunford and wife Rachel Dunford of New Castle, VA, his grandson Dillon and wife Alex Gilmore of Blacksburg, VA, his granddaughter Kassidy Gilmore of Charlotte, NC, and his sister-in-law Helen and husband Chib Royal, of Christiansburg, VA.

The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
