Prittie, Lilia Mae

Members of the Prittie Family are sad to report the passing of their beloved Lila Mae, 83, on October 16, 2009. Known for her ready smile and sweet nature, Mrs. Prittie is survived by her husband, Robert; three sons; a daughter; and six grandchildren. Born in Alliance, Ohio,

Mrs. Prittie lived in Blacksburg for 10 years, where she served for a time as a docent at Smithfield Plantation. She and her husband later moved to Powder Springs, Ga., and most recently lived in Decatur, Ga.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2010, at Morningside Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Lila Mae’s name to the Morningside Presbyterian Church Sunday Flowers Fund, 1411 N. Morningside Drive, NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30306.
