Prim, John Junior

John Junior Prim, of Blacksburg, born February 22, 1947, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 19, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Safewright Prim, father, James Buford Prim, three brothers, Authur, Lewis, and Timothy Prim and one sister, Della Prim. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 37 years, Carolyn Prim; one daughter, Krisha Prim of Blacksburg; three grandchildren, Aarionna, Amyah, and Jonathan Prime; four sisters, Mary, Margie (Mike) of Maryland, Pearlena of Pulaski, Tammy (Kenneth) of Bedford; two brothers, Lonnie (Kay), Clyde (Wanda); a host of nieces and nephews; a very special friend, Troy Lucas; one aunt, Sadie Harmon of West Virginia; mother-in-law, Sarah H. Peoples; three brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Angle and Rev. Dallas Vines officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm in the Schultz Cemetery, Allisonia, VA. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Friday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
