Price, Zula Vernia Harris

Zula Vernia Harris Price, 79, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and was also for over 20 years owner and manager of the Waffle Shop in Radford.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Charles Price, of Radford; a daughter, Carolyn Wolf, of Hilton Head, S.C.; three grandchildren, Mike Price and his wife Donna, of Dublin, Ronnie Price, of Waldorf, MD. and Rhmalda George, of Partlow; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Phyllis Harris, of Radford; three sisters and brother-in-law, Dotte and Lynwood Foster and Eula Phillips, both of Christiansburg, and Bernice Albert, of Lynchburg; 11 great-grandchildren and five greatgreatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1, 2009, at 11 a.m., at the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford, with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA. 24018.
