Price, Theresa Rose

Theresa Rose Price, 63, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at New River Valley Medical Center.

She was born in Montgomery County, Va. on May 4, 1943 to the late Robert Earl, Sr. and Maxine Reynolds Davis. She was also preceded in death by her son Howard Francis Rose, Jr., and her sister, Betty Davis Dove. Theresa retired from New River Valley Medical Center with 23 years of service.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Austin Price, Blacksburg; five daughters and sons-in-law, Estelle and Jimmy Linkous, Elliston, Marilyn and Bruce Altizer, Fairlawn, Debbie Rose and Debra Martin, Fieldale, Melissa and Timmy Hall, Collinsville, Tammy Rose and Grant Oberry, Radford; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Rose, Radford; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Earl Davis, Jr., Blacksburg; sisters, Katherine Dean, Roanoke, Selma Pat Smith, Blacksburg, Dorothy Price, Christiansburg, Charlotte Smith and husband, Carmon, Prices Fork; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Crystalene and Moe Moles, Pulaski; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Aubrey and Bessie Price, Blacksburg.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Norris Run Community Church with the Rev. Doug Price officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Tuesday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
