Price, Sr., Charles Curtis

Charles Curtis Price, Sr., 72, of Christiansburg, died Saturday, August 10, 2013, at his home. He was born in Montgomery County on November 18, 1940, to the late Oliph Oren and Lois L. Price.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Price, of Christiansburg; four daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Reed, of Roanoke, Lisa and Justin Hodge, of Radford, Linda Hilton, of Newport, Catherine C. and Damon Linkous, of Christiansburg; two sons and daughter-in-law, Charles Jr. and Jessica Price, of Radford, Oren Lee Price and fiance, Rebecca Grisham, of Christiansburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and James McElyea, of Little Rock, Ark.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl Price, of Christiansburg, Robert and Sue Price, of Vinton, Henderson and Edna Price, of Newport; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; special friend, Mike Elliott; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. John Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Newport Cemetery, Newport, VA. Friends may call any time after noon on Tuesday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
