Price, Shirley Lovern

Shirley Lovern Price, 77, of Blacksburg departed this life Monday, July 15, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harless L. and Elizabeth B. Lovern of Blacksburg; a son, Darrell K. Price; sisters, Judy Marie Lovern, Peggy L. Elliott, and Christine Rice.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence W. Price, Jr. of Blacksburg; son and daughter-in-law, Michael W. and Wanda Price of Pembroke; grandsons, Michael W. and Jalletta Price, Jr. of Narrows; Matthew W. and Ashley Price of Pembroke; granddaughter, Shawna P. Cox; seven great grandchildren; brother-in-law, William C. Rice of Blue Ridge; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Larry Thompson of Blacksburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randal and Josephine Lovern of Blacksburg, Edward and Connie Lovern of Christiansburg; brothers-in-law, James and Betty Price of Hillsville; Rodrick Elliott of Blacksburg; aunt, Mary Kelly of Eggleston. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Wednesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
